Problem Note 58685: Incorrect results are generated in the PLM procedure when it uses an item store that is generated by the LIFEREG or RELIABILITY procedures
When PROC PLM uses an item store that is generated by PROC LIFEREG or PROC RELIABILITY, results from the CODE, EFFECTPLOT, and SCORE statements are incorrect. This problem occurs because PROC LIFEREG and PROC RELIABILITY fail to include the scale parameter in their output item stores.
There is no circumvention for this problem in PROC PLM. Instead, you must use PROC LIFEREG or PROC RELIABILITY. For example, plots can be generated with the EFFECTPLOT statement in PROC RELIABILITY. See Augment the Training Data Set in Usage Note 33307: "Scoring (computing predicted values) for new observations or a validation data set" for details about computing predicted values for data points that are not used in fitting the model.
Beginning in SAS 9.4 TS1M4 (SAS/STAT 14.2), PROC PLM does not support the CODE, EFFECTPLOT, or SCORE statements for an item store created in PROC LIFEREG or PROC RELIABILITY. If you specify one of these statements, the following warning message is issued accordingly:
WARNING: The CODE statement cannot be used for the specified model.
WARNING: The EFFECTPLOT statement cannot be used for the specified model.
WARNING: The SCORE statement cannot be used for the specified model.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
